LORD, we live in a dark world that thrives on ignorance and gossip.  Help us to dedicate ourselves to learning so that we can live in truth and kindness. May our lives be a daily adventure as we seek the truth that will make us free. In the holy name of Christ Jesus AMEN

God we have become so blessed we have stopped being thankful. Help us to stop at this time of the year to hear your still small voice, and realize that all we have really belongs to you.  May we enjoy your gifts this holiday season. The greatest gift you have given is your Son, who has been given for us. Thank You God.  In the name of Jesus AMEN
